Function
The supply air discharged
from the outlet envelopes the circular, integrated diffuser rim
as a result to the Coanda effect. Symmetrical rotating horizontal
radial jets create a low velocity upward swirl of room air.
Thus, the horizontal
supply air is mixed intensively with room air creating a draft-free,
uniform mixture of air.
Layout Tips
Radial diffusers can
be located in the vicinity of the return air inlets, if there
are at least ten (10) inches between the height of the return
air inlet and that of the supply air outlet.
If the radial diffuser
and return air inlet are on the same level, the horizontal center
distance between units should be at least five (5) times the nominal
diffuser diameter. |
